Pregnancy & Postpartum Therapy in Fairfax, VA
Trying to “do everything right” and yet feeling like you’re falling apart.
Therapy offers a steady, grounding space to slow down, breathe, and regain control.
Whether you’re in Fairfax, Loudoun, Falls Church, or Arlington, VA, and trying to “do everything right,” you may find yourself stretched thin. You don’t feel like yourself anymore—and you’re wondering why this season feels so overwhelming. Please know you’re not alone.
Many expecting and new moms in Fairfax and Northern Virginia quietly struggle with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, anger, overwhelm, or exhaustion that doesn’t improve with sleep. You might even feel afraid to admit how hard this truly is.
Whether you’re pregnant, postpartum, or navigating the early years of motherhood, you may be:
Crying more often and unsure why
Feeling anxious, numb, or stuck in worst-case scenarios
Wondering why bonding with your baby isn’t happening naturally
Struggling to feel like yourself again
Too exhausted to function, yet unable to rest
Scared to say how bad things really feel
If any of this resonates, it’s not your fault. These are signs of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs)—are common and treatable and experiences that many parents in Fairfax, VA experience.
Therapy can help you feel grounded, supported, and connected again. You don’t have to navigate this alone—reaching out for support is the first step toward healing.

Trauma/EMDR Therapist in Fairfax, VA
Telehealth Services For All Virginia Residents
You’ve survived, now is time to heal. Reclaim your confidence, your peace and stay present.
Wether it’s one big traumatic event, or a series of multiple mini-events, trauma can leave deep marks—in your mind, in your body or in your relationships.
Trauma can show up in your life in many ways, including:
distressing memories or flashbacks
nightmares or difficulties sleeping
sudden spikes of fear, panic, or overwhelm
trouble focusing or feeling grounded
avoiding certain people, places, or situations
feeling on edge, shut down, or disconnected from yourself or others
If you recognize yourself in any of this, you’re not alone. Many people in Fairfax, VA carry trauma that continues to affect their daily lives—and it’s absolutely understandable. But healing is possible, and you don’t have to face it by yourself.
What is EMDR and How Can It Help?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly effective, evidence-based therapy for healing from trauma.
Using gentle, guided techniques, EMDR helps your brain reprocess difficult memories so they lose their intensity and no longer dictate your present. If intrusive memories, anxiety, or nightmares are holding you back, EMDR Therapy can help you:
Manage intense emotions
Sleep better
Reprocess painful experiences
Understand how your past impacts your present
Build practical tools to stay grounded and calm
Find healthy ways to cope
Feel secure and confident in your body again
You don’t have to do this alone. With the right support, it’s possible to heal from the past and be present in your life and put your past behind.
